The set contains three 3D-printed resin figures of US aircraft mechanics together with a model of the 20 mm SUU-23 gun pod on a transport trolley, made with the option of an open or a closed gun bay. It comes as unglued, unpainted castings for deck and airfield scenes in 1:48 scale.
The SUU-23 is an American external pod with a rotary 20 mm cannon which raised the firepower of ground-attack and fighter aircraft. The scene captures mechanics handling and servicing the pod, a rewarding element for an airfield or deck diorama.
Wash the parts free of print resin residue, separate them from the supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue; sand with respiratory protection. Paint the pod and the figures separately; the metal parts of the cannon come out with a dark metallic shade and a fine wash.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
