This injection-molded plastic set in 1:72 scale brings several figure and building elements together into one rich composition on the theme of an assault on a medieval fortress. In the package you will find a large number of figures of foot and mounted fighters and additional elements for putting the scene together. It is a combined edition from MiniArt, suitable as a basis for a more extensive diorama or as a source of figures for compositions of your own.
The set works up the classic subject of a medieval siege: attackers on horseback and on foot, pikemen and other fighters advancing on the walls. For 1:72 scale it is a rewarding theme that makes it possible to create a dynamic scene with a crowd of figures and the tension of a battle.
The figures and the parts are cut from the sprues, cleaned up and glued with cement for plastic models. Small figures in 1:72 take acrylic paint well, and an undercoat and glazes can be used to advantage to bring out faces, armor and clothing. A consistent approach to color and a final sharpening of the details help the overall impression of the scene.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
