This accessory is a set of resin drive sprockets and idler wheels for kits of the German Hetzer tank destroyer in 1:72 scale. It is not a vehicle model but detail parts to be swapped for the running gear from the box. The number in the designation identifies the particular type of wheels; the individual numbers in the line differ in pattern and are separate variants, not duplicates.
The Hetzer (Jagdpanzer 38(t)) was a light German tank destroyer of the end of the Second World War on a reliable chassis. During series production various factory forms of the drive sprockets and idler wheels arose, differing in the shape of the spokes and the rim, which for a modeler means having to choose the right variant.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks off and sand the mating surfaces. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Assemble and paint the running gear before closing the hull up. Mud and dust effects around the wheels are created with washes and pigments.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
