About product

F-15QA Eagle Ababil from Qatar 1:48 - Two Bobs decals

A decal set in 1:48 scale from Two Bobs. It is not a kit but a decal sheet for a finished model of the F-15QA fighter. The set offers markings for the machines of the Qatari Air Force known as the Ababil, in their light and medium gray camouflage scheme.

The real subject

The F-15QA is the newest and heavily modernized version of the multirole Eagle fighter, developed for the Qatari Air Force. It combines the proven Eagle airframe with the latest avionics, radar and an increased weapons load. The gray low-visibility scheme contrasts with the maroon and white national insignia.

Use and tips

  • Apply them over a glossy painted surface so that they settle perfectly
  • Use decal softener and setting solution
  • Once dry, seal them with a matte or semi-gloss clear coat

Who the set is for

  • Builders of modern Eagles in 1:48 scale
  • Fans of present-day Middle Eastern aviation
  • Collectors of unusual national markings

The set holds decals only. The kit, the paints and the clear coat are not included in the package.
