A set of double-sided, self-adhesive and pre-cut masking films (kabuki) for the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-4 fighter in 1:32 scale. It is an accessory for masking, not a model in its own right — the masks mark out the canopy frames and the other glazing, the wheels and small areas exactly. The double-sided design makes it possible to mask the glazing from the inside as well as the outside. Note: this set is for the G-4 variant in 1:32 scale, unlike the G-5/G-6 version in the larger 1:24 scale.
The pre-cut masks are stuck directly onto the glazing and mark out the areas that are to stay clear. The parts are numbered and, together with the instructions, set their exact position, so the laborious cutting of tape falls away.
Degrease the glazing before masking. Lay the masks on a dry surface, press the edges down well against paint creeping under and peel them off carefully once the paint has set.
This is a masking accessory, not a model in its own right. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
