Tori Factory Kannushi 1 with an altar is a resin figure of a Shinto priest in 1:24 scale, intended for experienced modelers and collectors.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin (3D-printed) figure from the South Korean maker Tori Factory in 1:24 scale. The subject is a kannushi, that is a Shinto priest, rounded out with a small ceremonial altar. The set is intended for experienced modelers; it is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit.
A kannushi is a priest of Shinto, the traditional Japanese religion. He looks after a shrine, leads rituals and ceremonies and wears a characteristic white or light robe with headgear. The figure with the altar serves well as a striking element of a Japanese-themed diorama or as a collector's piece of its own.
First wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut away the print supports and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding resin. An airbrush and a brush alike suit the painting; the face and the fine details of the robe come out with thin coats and gentle highlighting of the shadows.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
