A resin figure from the Polish maker Mantis Miniatures in 1:35 scale. It captures an African woman in civilian clothing and suits the bringing to life of civilian as well as military scenes of the modern period. These are cast resin parts for more experienced modelers; the figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The figure is conceived matter-of-factly as a civilian element of a diorama - it gives a scene scale, life and a believable setting. It goes well with scenes set in African or Middle Eastern locations.
Wash the parts free of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and align the joints. Bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and fill the gaps with putty. Build the skin up by layering acrylics or oils and finish the clothing with drybrushing and emphasized folds. Use respiratory protection when sanding resin.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
