Studio27 1:24, McLaren MP4/12C GT3 Lapidus, Blancpain 2012 is a decal set for the Fujimi kit. These are not kits: you get the markings only, the model of the car itself has to be on hand.
Responsibility details are not available.
Careful, so that you do not buy something other than you expect: these are not plastic parts, but a sheet of water-slide decals from the maker Studio27. It serves to build the Fujimi McLaren MP4-12C GT3 (1:24) kit as the car of the Lapidus team from the Blancpain Endurance Series 2012 season. The model of the car is not in the package, you have to own it.
The Blancpain Endurance Series is a European endurance series for GT3 cars, which over the years grew into today GT World Challenge Europe. Its crown is the 24 Hours of Spa, one of the biggest and hardest GT races in the world. This is where most customer GT3 teams aim, and in 2012 a whole fleet of McLaren MP4-12C GT3s started here as well. The McLaren MP4-12C was the first road car McLaren built after the legendary F1, and its GT3 version brought the brand back among customer racing specials. Lapidus appeared on the grid of the 2012 endurance races with number 62.
In the kit from Fujimi you will find decals for one livery, at most two. Yet the MP4-12C GT3 raced with dozens of teams across series, and a collector wants that particular car of his from a particular race. That one is not in the box, which is why such sheets are bought on top of it. Sheets for Hexis (FIA GT1 2012), Long Beach 2014 and Racing Studio (Italian GT 2015) exist as well. The names are similar to each other, but it is a different team, a different series and a different year, so do not confuse them.
This is a standalone decal sheet. The kit, paints, clear coat and softener are not included in the package.
