It is a detail accessory for modelers, not a standalone model — it replaces the coarser plastic part and gives the model a fine, straight and at the same time sturdy antenna. It suits a whole range of current wheeled and tracked armored vehicles that carry this antenna.
The Comrod VHF3088VM is a broadband communications antenna working in the VHF band (roughly 30 to 88 MHz), used on modern military platforms — armored and unarmored, with metal and composite structures alike. Thanks to its rugged build it is common on today's vehicles all over the world.
Cut the metal and resin parts from their gates, wash them free of release agent where needed and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). A primer before painting is recommended so that the paint holds on the metal.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
