This is a resin detail accessory in 1:35 scale, not a vehicle kit. The set represents a realistically worked tarpaulin cover for models of the German Sd.Kfz. 9 Famo heavy half-track tractor of the Second World War. The casting imitates cloth with a natural sag, folds and tie-downs, so it gives the vehicle a period-faithful look.
The cover is seated on the load area and the frame of the model, where it replaces or covers part of the cargo space. The part is cleaned of the casting blocks and mold release agent, its fit on the particular model is tuned and it is glued on with cyanoacrylate glue. Smaller unevenness can be tuned with putty and sanding.
Spray the base with a primer, then choose the shade of the canvas. You suggest fading, dusting and streaking with filters, washes and pigments, and bring out the edges of the folds with drybrushing.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other material are not included in the package.
