This is a photo-etched brass detail set from the Polish brand Aber in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit but a set of thin metal fenders with which you replace the coarser plastic parts on a model of the German Jagdpanzer IV tank destroyer, in the versions with the short L/48 gun and with the long L/70 gun alike. The real sheet thickness makes it possible to render bending and damage faithfully.
The fenders of the Jagdpanzer IV were commonly distorted, bent and torn off in the field. The Aber photo-etched parts respect their thinness, so once formed they look realistic. The set usually also contains the clamps and the supports for a faithful fit.
Cut the parts off with a sharp knife, bend them on a photo-etch bending tool or along a razor blade and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); they can also be soldered. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer. For a vehicle from the front line, bend the fenders slightly and leave some out.
This is an accessory for detailing, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
