The A-10 Thunderbolt II is an American attack aircraft whose two engines are carried by a pair of characteristic nacelles high on the sides of the rear fuselage. This set makes it possible to show the engine bay open, with finely worked air intakes and exhaust nozzles that surpass the parts from the base kit in detail. The set is built directly for the A-10 kit from Great Wall Hobby (GWH) in 1:48 scale, and the aircraft model or kit itself is not included in the package.
First wash the resin (3D-printed) parts in lukewarm water with detergent to remove any uncured print resin residue. Cut the print supports away carefully and sand the surfaces; when sanding resin use respiratory protection and work wet if possible. Bond the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting; the details of the engine bay come out best with preshading and gentle weathering.
The set does not contain the aircraft model or kit; it is an accessory for the kit named. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the model are not included in the package.
