A resin set in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer CMK brings a replacement tail wheel (rear wheel) with a strengthened leg for a model of the British aircraft Bristol Blenheim Mk.I and of the night fighter version Mk.IF. It is not an airplane kit, but a small yet telling accessory for advanced modelers that replaces the finer plastic part with a sturdier and better detailed casting.
The Bristol Blenheim was a British twin-engine light bomber from the beginning of World War II; the Mk.IF was its night fighter variant. The strengthened tail wheel leg corresponds to a period modification of the landing gear and at the same time gives the model the strength it needs at the rear support point.
Wash the mold release agent off the part, cut off the casting block and bond with super glue. Paint the wheel and the leg separately, pick out the details with a fine wash and, if you like, suggest dust or mud with pigments.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin accessory. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
