Watch the distinction: this set is in 1:48 scale and covers the FB.5 and FB.9 versions alike (a similar set for the Vampire FB.5 also exists in the larger 1:32 scale). It is not a kit but a set of three-dimensional, fully colored 3D decals on decal paper, which replace the instrument panel, the side consoles and other elements of the cockpit of the British jet fighter. They combine raised relief detail with color printing, so that even without painting you get a realistic cockpit. According to the product name the set is made for the Trumpeter kit.
Paint the cockpit parts with a dark base. Apply the 3D decals as classic decals in lukewarm water, transfer them carefully into place and press them down gently so that the relief beds in. Do not use a decal softener, as it attacks the resin. The pre-printed color makes the set accessible to less experienced modelers as well.
The set is only an accessory for a plastic kit, which it does not contain. Paints are not included in the package.
