Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic figure set from MiniArt in 1:48 scale. It contains four figures of Luftwaffe ground crew in working poses, along with a wealth of workshop accessories — workbenches, ladders, tool crates and other small equipment. The set is intended to bring aviation dioramas to life and to complement aircraft models in this scale; the equipment lineup matches the configuration used in the North African campaign.
During the Second World War, Luftwaffe ground crews handled maintenance, refueling, arming and repairs of aircraft right at field airfields. Without these mechanics and technicians, no aircraft would have taken off — their work under improvised conditions, often in dust and under pressure, was essential to keeping the units operating.
Glue the figures with thin liquid cement for plastic, and lightly sand off mold seams and sprue marks. Apply a primer before painting. Build up the uniforms from a base shade, darken the folds' recesses with a wash and brighten the raised areas with dry-brushing. Build up the skin tone on faces and hands in layers; paint the small tools and crates separately so the scene feels alive.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
