WWI German FA(A) Units Crew Emil und Franz 1917 1:48 is a 3D-printed resin figure set of a German air crew and mechanics of the First World War from Mirage Hobby.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of figures of a German observation and artillery aviation unit (Flieger-Abteilung Artillerie) of the First World War in 1:48 scale. The set is produced by quality 3D printing in resin and is intended for more experienced modelers. Besides the crew it also contains small items of equipment.
The figures represent a pair of air crew rounded off with mechanics, that is the typical ground party of a German reconnaissance aircraft of 1917. Period aerial cameras and smaller aircraft bombs are included, which place the scene in the setting of a First World War field airfield.
First wash the resin parts free of uncured print resin residue, cut off the print supports and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. The uniforms benefit from a base of primer, shading and highlighting; the faces will reward flesh-tone technique.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
