Heinkel He 112 V10 1:72 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the prototype of the German fighter from RS Models.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Heinkel He 112 prototype in its V10 version in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker RS Models. This machine stood out for its powerplant, as it received the Daimler-Benz DB 601 A inverted V12 engine. The box holds a clear canopy part and a decal sheet with several marking options.
The Heinkel He 112 was the competitor to the Messerschmitt Bf 109, which came later, in the contest for the standard Luftwaffe fighter. Despite decent performance it lost the contest and only a small number of machines were built, mostly development and export examples. The V10 version served as a test airframe for further development of the type and for trials of the powerplant.
This is a short-run kit with a finer breakdown of parts, so assemble it thoughtfully and dry fit before gluing. Bond the parts with thin cement for plastic, fill the gaps and sand them down. Primer under the paint, an airbrush and light weathering to match the period subject are recommended.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
