A Red Fox Studio display base for models in 1:72 scale. It captures the surface of a Soviet-type military airfield in the Type 2 version measuring 300 x 230 mm, with a different layout of concrete slabs and markings from Type 1. The surface is color-finished with a three-dimensional relief effect.
The base is a light board of extruded PVC roughly 5 mm thick with a pre-printed surface in a satin sheen that resists UV light. The USSR version differs from the NATO airfields in its typical large-format concrete slabs and different markings, and the Type 2 version offers a different drawing from Type 1.
This is a display base on its own. The model, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package.
