Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from HäT. The box holds sixty figures in twelve poses, which is an exceptional count and variety for this range. The figures are molded in soft plastic and come unpainted. The subject is unmarried Zulu warriors, that is the regiments of the younger age groups of the Zulu army.
The Zulu army was organized by age group. The younger, as yet unmarried men formed regiments that carried different shields and ornaments than the older married warriors, and it was by the color of the shield and the headdress that a unit could be told. In 1879 at Isandlwana the Zulu army destroyed a British column and showed how effective the enveloping tactic of the horns of the bull could be.
Wash the figures, dry them and spray them with a flexible primer. The Zulu shields are the main area of color and their markings are not random: darker shields with light patches predominated among the younger regiments. Underpaint the body in dark brown and lay the top layer on with a dry brush. With sixty figures in twelve poses you can build an attacking formation without a single repeat.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
