Mr.Paint MRP-447 Tarngrau is a lacquer-type modeling paint in the RAL 7050-F9 shade. It is thinned with lacquer thinner, not with water.

A modeling paint from the maker Mr.Paint in the RAL 7050-F9 shade, camouflage gray in English. The series with the MRP code without the letter A is of the lacquer type: it is supplied thinned for direct spraying with an airbrush and is thinned with lacquer thinner. It is not thinned with water and it is not mixed with water-thinnable acrylics. The standard bottle of the series holds 30 ml.
RAL 7050-F9 Tarngrau is the camouflage gray from the Bundeswehr RAL F9 register. It is a neutral, slightly greenish gray which in a scheme plays the part of the transitional tone between the light sand and the darker brown, so that it breaks up the outlines of a vehicle. Together with Sandbeige, Helloliv and Sandbraun it makes up the set of four shades for dry regions. The F9 register prescribes a matte surface for it.
The paint is thinned for direct spraying. Mix it before use and spray more thin coats. Gray shades are the most demanding to build up in coats, because uneven coverage shows on them the most, so it pays to work with lower pressure and closer to the surface. Rinse the airbrush out with lacquer thinner; water will not clean it.
The paint is flammable and contains organic solvents. Work in a well-ventilated area, use a respirator with a filter for organic vapors and keep the paint away from open flame. An airbrush, thinner and masking material are not included in the package.
