The set holds two figures: an American sniper and his spotter, in 1:35 scale. The box states two figures. The maker is the Ukrainian brand Spalah, which 3D-prints its figures from photopolymer resin. A pair in a prone or crouched position is rewarding for dioramas, because it takes up little room and still gives a scene a clear subject. The figures are supplied unpainted and with print supports.
Snipers work in pairs: the shooter and a spotter, who finds targets, measures range, watches the wind and handles communication. That is exactly why this pair is built together on a model; a single figure with a rifle tells only half the story. The kit includes camouflage items, binoculars or an observation instrument and often improvised screening for the weapon.
Wash the print resin residue off the figures, cut the print supports away and sand the marks with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). On resin a primer is a must. With camouflage clothing, build the pattern from a light base toward darker areas and let the color carry over onto the kit as well, so that the figure blends into the terrain of the scene.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
