Five 3D-printed wire cutters, the pioneer tools of German equipment from the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
Wire cutters were part of the pioneer equipment without which no way through a wire obstacle could be made in the Second World War. They were carried in the tool box of a vehicle or kept by engineers themselves, which is why they work well both on the equipment and in a figure's hands. It is exactly such small objects that turn a model into a scene rather than just a shape.
By the name, the set contains five pieces of 3D-printed cutters. Printing can hold thin arms and jaws in a single piece, so the part does not have to be thickened to survive handling. Five pieces are enough for several vehicles or for a scene in progress, where the tools are laid out around the work area and some of them are lying outside the box.
The parts are joined to print supports; cut them off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and level the stub with fine abrasive paper. Because of the thin arms, support the part while cutting and do not press down on it from above. Wash, degrease and prime the surface before painting. Use cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) for joining; polystyrene cement does not hold here. Set the handles apart from the jaws with a different shade and finally bring out the edges with a dry brush.
The set is for modelers of military equipment and for builders of dioramas who want their tools crisp and in the number the scene needs. Working with parts this small does not go without tweezers and good light, but the result is worth it. In the package are the printed parts alone; the model, paints and glue are not supplied with them, unless stated otherwise.
