Eduard 1:48 B43-1 with the SC43-3/-6 tail assembly is a resin set of two aerial bombs for models of Cold War aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory of external stores, not an aircraft kit.

This is an add-on resin set from the Brassin line, not a model of an aircraft. The package holds parts for two B43 aerial bombs in the version 1 with tail assemblies of the SC43-3 and SC43-6 types, cast in resin in 1:48 scale. Photo-etched parts and decals complete the set. A plastic kit of the aircraft is not part of the package.
The B43 was an American aerial bomb taken into service at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s and kept in use until the early 1990s. It was made in several forms, which differed above all in the tail assembly; that determines the way the bomb is released and how it behaves once it separates from its carrier. In modeling terms it is a typical store of American and allied aircraft of the Cold War period, so the set widens the armament options across a broad range of machines of that era.
Start by washing the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release agent is removed, because otherwise the paint will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine-toothed saw, and do not break them. Sand wet and with respiratory protection. Both the resin and the photo-etched parts are glued with cyanoacrylate or epoxy; cement for plastic does not work here. Lay down a primer before painting. Decals with technical lettering settle best over a gloss surface; once dry, even them out with a clear coat matching the rest of the model. Hang the bombs on the model at the very end of the build, so that they do not get in the way of masking and handling.
The set is an accessory for a kit, which it does not include. Glue, paints and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
