HEKI Grass Strips, Autumn 5 to 6 mm, 10 pcs

Ten grass strips from the German maker HEKI, one hundred millimeters long, with growth five to six millimeters high, in autumn coloring. Autumn grass is yellow-brown and dry, so a strip of it laid along a lane or a track places the whole scene at the end of the season at once. It is also a practical way to make a dry band where green grass would make no sense, that is, along paved surfaces and walls.

How to work with the strips

The strips are not self-adhesive; they are fixed with modeling glue, ideally a flock adhesive or PVA glue. Apply a thin line of glue and lay the strip into it, shortening it beforehand with scissors if needed. Keep the joints irregular and vary the density. A dry strip looks best where water would not hold, that is, on crests and by paved surfaces, while in the hollows you should leave green grass.

Who the set is for

For builders of autumn and winter layouts and dioramas and for modelers who want to suggest the dry edges of an area. The strips go well with individual tufts, because the line then does not have the same height along its whole length. This is modeling material, not a toy. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
