Empty US 75 mm cartridge cases (Sherman), 1:48, are a resin accessory from the Firma49 brand for dressing dioramas with American armored vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin (3D printed) set in 1:48 scale is not a vehicle kit but a set of spent brass cases of the American 75 mm tank caliber. It will serve for dressing dioramas and fighting positions – cases scattered beside an armored vehicle round out the atmosphere of a fight in progress.
The 75 mm gun was the main weapon of the American medium tanks of the Second World War. After firing, the empty brass case was ejected and piled up beside the vehicle. The set faithfully captures these spent cases as a characteristic feature of a battlefield.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap and separate them from the support blocks. Place the small cases with tweezers and fix them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Bring the golden brass shade to life with a light darkening and a wash; placing them irregularly will give a natural effect.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as resin parts. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
