The Gunze Mr Modelling Saw modeling saw is a tool for the fine cutting of plastic parts, an accessory rather than a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a modeling tool from the Japanese brand Gunze. It is neither a model nor an accessory for a model: the saw serves for cutting plastic where neither nippers nor a scalpel are enough any more. Typically that means dividing thicker parts, separating castings from massive gates, cutting profiles and tubes, or working into finished parts during conversions.
Guide the saw lightly and let the blade itself do the work; pressure leads to slipping and to binding in the material. Mark the cut out first with a few strokes toward yourself and only then lengthen the stroke. With thin parts it pays to support the place being cut so that the plastic does not flex. After the cut, level the edge with a file or an abrasive sponge and degrease it before gluing. It also pays to cut with a margin outside the target line and only then sand down to the exact dimension, because plastic can be taken away but not put back. With parts that have to line up again after being divided, mark both halves before the cut so that they can be put together in the same position.
This is a tool, not a kit. The exact version, the number and dimensions of the blades and the material are stated on the box. Take care when working, as the tool is sharp, so cut away from your body and use a mat.
