A sturdier grade of the selection, a head with a hex 1.8 mm in diameter. It approaches the upper end of the scale and suits places where the joint is to look heavy.
A head with a hex 1.6 mm in diameter. A dimension for the places most often touched while a model is being looked at, typically around removable covers.
Hardware with a hex 1.5 mm in size for completing the surface of a model. A middle grade of the upper half of the scale, suitable even for a display case over long years.
A hex head 1.2 mm in diameter for suggesting a bolted joint on a model. It closes the lower half of the scale offered and suits clearly visible places.
Above the millimeter mark. The 1.1 mm value belongs on the bold joint groups of armored machinery, where the joint should be readable even in a photograph of the finished model.
A whole millimeter from the bulletproof family. The value where fine detailing ends and the bold joints visible from a distance, even in a finished display case, begin.
Nine tenths of a millimeter from the bulletproof family. The grade that closes the fine part of the grading and suits the more boldly laid out joints of larger plates.
The middle fine value of the bulletproof family. Seven tenths of a millimeter suits places where the joint is to be distinct but must not suppress the surrounding shaping.
Six tenths of a millimeter from the bulletproof family. A size for the fine layout of fasteners on protective plates and for models of smaller and medium scales.
The coarser part of the scale in one package. According to the name it covers values from 1.3 mm to 2.0 mm, that is sizes for the load-bearing joint groups and exterior details of larger models.
The upper limit of the whole dimensional band. A 2.0 mm hex with a flat top belongs on large flanges, rims and the load-bearing joints of models in large scales.
The penultimate grade of the low-profile scale. A head 1.9 mm in size suits places where the fastener should be clearly readable as a separate component.
A low hex 1.8 mm in size for detailing covers, flanges and mating surfaces. A coarser grade of the scale, which comes into its own in the larger scales of motorcycles and ground machinery.
A lowered hex 1.7 mm in diameter, that is one of the coarser grades of the family. With a face this large the final impression is decided by the way the surface works with light.
